What are hidden gem movies on Netflix right now?

Look for The Half of It, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Roma and Tick, Tick... Boom! These are the films people whisper about in group chats rather than the ones plastered on billboards.

What should I watch on Netflix when I feel sad?

Paddington 2, Chef and Julie and Julia are like emotional soup. They are gentle, warm and leave you feeling held rather than drained.

Are there any uplifting Netflix films based on true stories?

Yes. Dolemite Is My Name, Hustle and The Trial of the Chicago 7 are all rooted in real events and carry an energy that stays with you long after the credits.

What Netflix films are good to watch with family?

Klaus, The Mitchells vs. the Machines and Yes Day are wonderful for mixed age groups. They are funny, kind and easy to enjoy together without anyone checking their phone.
