What is Why Did I Get Married Again? about?

The original couples reunite for the wedding of Marcus and Angela's daughter. Watching their grown up children repeat their own patterns pushes the couples to ask the question the franchise is built on, why did they get married again?

Who made Why Did I Get Married Again?

Tyler Perry directs, writes and produces, alongside producers Angi Bones and Tony Strickland.

Do I need to watch the earlier films first?

It helps to know the couples from Why Did I Get Married? and Why Did I Get Married Too?, but the reunion story also works on its own as a comedy drama about family, friendship and second looks at love.
